Get ready to see a lot of live video on Instagram

Instagram live video is here and it will soon be available to a lot more people.

The Facebook-owned company, Instagram is now starting to bring its live-streaming features to everyone. Users in the U.S have already started to see the feature today and those in other countries will have access "over the coming weeks," according to the company.

Instagram announced live video was coming to its app and it has arrived.

The one thing about this feature is that, Its more like Snapchat than Facebook. Instagram live videos disappear after the stream ends and when someone you follow is live, it will appear in the Stories section of the app and some users will receive notifications when someone they follow is live (based on an algorithm that determines which followers are most likely to be interested.)

If you have post notifications on for an account, then you'll also get alerts when they go live. Live videos will also appear in the app's "explore" section.

There’s a “Top Live” section in Instagram’s Explore section now to point you toward popular live videos happening at any given moment. But once they’re over, they’re gone. Instagram says it does this “so you can feel comfortable sharing what you want, anytime.”

Today i just watched a live feed from a Tanzanian Model Flaviana Matata who is living in US.

Hopefully the feature will be all over the world soon so that many people can enjoy the live feed.
