Andy Carroll's hat-trick for West Ham was not enough to make his team leave with three points at their home ground against Arsenal who are fighting nail and toe to close the gap with the league leaders.

Today was not a good day for Arsene Wenger as Arsenal have failed to reduce the gap between them and Leicester City who are the league leaders as they are 10 points behind leaders Leicester with six games to play.

But the gap will keep increasing if Leicester city win this weekends game, and that will make it 13 points difference.

West Ham have extended their unbeaten record at home ground in the Premier League to 14 games.
