Post-match reaction to Swansea's win at Old Trafford

Its comes a s a shock for all united fans as no one expected that Lous Van Gaal will be defeated in his first Premier League game. Not only his first but at home "Old Trafford stadium" in front of thousands of long waited fans to see a big start of the new season.

Speaking with MUTV, Manchester United's new manager Louis van Gaal said "It's disappointing for the fans, for the players and also for me. It's a very bad day for us."

 "We never played as a team. That's our error." He said

Speaking with BT Sport after the match, Swansea's captain "Ashley Williams" said that the Swans did exactly what they came to do at OT.


"We want to be a team with character and fight, that is the only way that you can get anywhere in the Premier League," he said.

"There are no stars here, the team is the star. That is one win, but we need to go again."

Swansea Manager, Garry Monk is also delighted with the win, saying that the hard work during the pre-season has paid off for his side.

"We have worked on the mentality side of things so that even when things go against us we continue to believe in what we are doing," he said
