According to the sources, Chelsea are close in signing Barcelona midfielder and former Arsenal player Cesc Fabregas with the deal to be announced this week.
The Spain international midfielder attracted interest from clubs such as Chelsea and Manchester United after Barcelona’s new manager Luis Enrique decided to put the midfielder on the transfer list for £30 million.
Jose Mourinho interest in Cesc Fabregas is to replace the departed legend Frank Lampard, who will leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the month when his contract expires and Fabregas will be his replacement
Fabregas and his agent Darren Dein agreed on personal terms and believed to have undergone a successful medical tests.
