Sumaye appointed as Chadema Central Committee (CC) member
Chadema chairman Freeman Mbowe appoints former Prime Minister Fredrick Sumaye as Chadema Central Committee (CC) member.
Fredrick Sumaye, the former Prime Minister, has been appointed as a member of the Central Committee (CC) of the Party for Democracy and Progress (CHADEMA)
Freeman Mbowe, who is the Chairman of CHADEMA - has told a private meeting of the National Executive Committee that he recommended Sumaye as a member of the CC with the aim of strengthening the party.
He said, "CHADEMA's intent is on consolidation for the next election, with each member working together for propagation of the party."
The Executive Committee ratified the appointment of Sumaye as a member of the Central Committee.
Sumaye thanked Mbowe for the appointment and promised to served the party with all his strength.
