Barcelona crowned La Liga champions

Barcelona managed to retain league title after beating Granada 0-3 thanks to a Luis Suarez hat-trick.

Catalan club  retained the Spanish league title this Saturday with an efficient 0-3 win at Granada, thanks to a hat-trick from the league top scorer Luis Suarez.

Barca finished the league with 91 points, just one point above the second-placed Real Madrid who have 90 points. 

Real Madrid managed to secure a  0 - 2 win at Deportivo La Coruna, but it wasn't enough to stop barcelona from clinching their eighth league title in 12 seasons.

Suarez's  hat-trick at Granada left him as league top scorer with 40 goals, five goals ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored both of Real Madrid's goals in their win at Deportivo.
