Marcus Rashford to sign a new contract — But not with Manchester United
Manchester United teenage striker Marcus Rashford has made a huge impact since stepping up to the first team.
According to the reports, Marcus Rashford will come to signing a commercial deal with Nike in the coming weeks.
Talks are at an advanced stage over a lucrative boot deal for Rashford, who is just 18 years old, after a breakthrough Manchester United season.
The striker, whose deal ends in just 14 months, has yet to be called in for talks with executive vice- chairman Ed Woodward.
Rashford earns a basic wage of £1,500 plus a £5,000 bonus each time he appears in a United shirt.
Rashford, who has scored seven times, is still waiting for the club to make their move on a new deal.
Sports companies such as Roc Nation Sports which is owned by Rapper Jay-Z and Jorge Mendes, the super-agent behind Jose Mourinho and Christiano Ronaldo are in a battle to secure the signature of Rashford.
