"I will invest in uranium" - Says Dr. Magufuli

The CCM presidential candidate, Dr John Magufuli, said his Government will put emphasis on mining especially in Uranium which is available in Namtubo District in order to spur the country's development if only elected to be the fifth president of The united republic of Tanzania in October General Elections

Dr Magufuli made the pledge at a campaign rally in Namtumbo, Tunduru District, where the uranium minerals are abundant.

In his first meeting held at the area’s CCM grounds, Mr Magufuli said if trusted by Tanzanians to lead the government his leadership would build good relations with all neighboring countries as well as donors.
