Cristiano Ronaldo has been estimated to be worth more than 1 billion pounds

Cristiano Ronaldo's agent, Jorge Mendes has confirmed that the Real Madrid star will retire his football career at the Santiago Bernabeu, even if United meet £300m transfer fee.

According to the player’s super-agent, Jorge Mendes, the most marketable player in the world and three times FIFA Ballon D’Or winner is worth £1billion in valuation.

‘He’s the most expensive player in the world because he’s the best footballer, the best sportsman ever in the world.



‘It’s impossible to say his worth. Cristano Ronaldo? One billion. His buyout clause one billion, so it is one billion,’ Mendes told BBC on Tuesday

Mendes also confirmed that the 29 year-old will finish his career at Real Madrid, and that still would count, even if Man United meet his buyout clause of £300m.

‘If for any reason they decided to sell him tomorrow for £300m, someone would pay. He loves the Manchester United supporters because he was there six years he but he will finish his career at Real Madrid, for sure.’
