Chelsea to pay £200m transfer fee to sign Lionel Messi

Chelsea football club are willing to pay Barcelona  £200 million  for Lionel Messi’s release clause in order to sign him this January from Barcelona, according to reports.

This week we have seen Lionel Messi following Chelsea's official Instagram account. which made all the speculations to increase.

According to the Daily Star, it is believed that the deal is firmly on the cards, with Chelsea willing to meet his buy-out clause, along with offering him a giant six-year contract.

Obviously, the deal would blow rivals Manchester City and PSG out of the water, and would be difficult for Messi to reject.
