Thierry Henry retires from football

 Thierry Henry has announced his retirement from playing football and signed a multi-million pound deal to be the new face of Sky television.


Former Arsenal Striker and France national team Thierry Henry has announced his retirement to play football after playing for 20 years. Henry, who won the World Cup in 1998, and Arsenal top score of all time, he left the club to play for  the New York Red Bulls and This month he has decided to left the club.

There were rumors that he might sign with the other teams.

"It's been an exciting journey," said Henry, who is now 37 years old.


Thierry Henry will join Sky Sports TV station as a football analyst. The Frenchman, has played for like Monaco, Juventus, Arsenal and Barcelona . He has scored a total of 175 goals in England's Premier League and he is fourth in England's Premier League all time scoring records.

Henry won two the Premier League titles, three FA Cups with Arsenal, having been playing for the club since 1999 to 2007.

He Added Club Champions Cup  at Barcelona in 2009 and was returned to Arsenal on loan, while playing for the New York Red Bulls in 2012.
