Miss South Africa crowned the Miss World 2014
Miss South Africa, Rolene Strauss is the new Miss World after being crowned to be Miss World 2014. She defeated over 120 contestants in the competition which was held in London, England.
Miss Hungary, Edina Kulcsar, was judged the runner-up and Miss United States, Elizabeth Safrit, came third in the 64th annual competition.
The winner of the Miss World 2014 beauty competition was crowned the winner and the former Miss World 2013 Megan Young from the Philippines handled her the crown.
The top five winners of the beauty contests this year were from UK, USA, Hungary, Australia and South Africa.
The top 10 contestants who topped the final scoreboard were from India, South Africa, England, Guyana, Brazil, Hungary, Kenya, United States, Mexico and Australia.
They were joined by Miss Thailand, who won the people's choice award, voted for by people around the world through a mobile phone app. Our Tanzanian representative "Happyness Watimanywa" took the second place in the people's choice award
