EPL Results: Barclays Premier League Week 17 Results

The results of the weekend have seen Manuel Pellegrini's Man City side inch their way back to the top with 39 points equal to Chelsea who still have one game to play against stoke city.
Manchester United though were stopped in their tracks by a resilient Aston Villa side despite having to battle out more than a quarter of the game with 10 men.

Charlie Austin’s hat-trick gave Queens Park Rangers’ survival hopes a real shot in the arm with a 3-2 win at Loftus Road. Harry Redknapp’s men had to do really well to find their way back into the game after Joleon Lescott and Sivestre Varela’s strikes put them in the lead before the Austin show got the better of West Brom.

Newcastle failed to secure their home game as they were beaten by sunderland. The big match of the day was between Liverpool and Arsenal which ended with a draw.
