FULL TIME: Burnley 1-3 Chelsea - Diego Costa scores his 1st EPL GOAL as Fabregas shines for Blues

Diego Costa  Celebrating his 1st EPL Goal

Chelsea have proved to be the best team and the favorite to win the premier league for this season, as they started with a big win over the new comers "Barnley".

Chelsea played a classic football, it seems like this is  a new chelsea we saw last season.

Barnley were the 1st team to score just within 13th minute through a stunning strike from Scott Arfield, the goal didn't last for long as chelsea equalised just 3 minutes later. its was Diego Costa who scored the Goal and made the score to be 1 - 1


Chelsea's second goal, came in the 21st minute as the result of a nice pass from Fabregas to Andre Schurrle.


Diego Costa was robed a penalty kick after being taken out by the Goal keeper but he ended up being booked with yellow card by the referee for diving. Although the replay showed it clear it was a penalty.

The 3rd goal for chelsea came from a corner, as the corner specialist Ivanovic made no mistake when the ball dropped on his leg.

Today we saw a big change in chelsea squad as Peter Cech was replaced by the new goal keeper Thibaut Courtois.
